Josh Howell

I am Josh Howell and an Associate Director (Mechanical) at Metec Consulting Engineers. I have over 15 years’ experience in the Building Services industry within the United Kingdom and Ireland working for both contracting and consulting organisations. I also have experience within other European countries enabling clients’ overseas requirements to be fulfilled.

After leaving school to undertake an apprenticeship programme in building services engineering, I spent 7 years working for a mechanical contractor in the UK. I emigrated to Ireland in 2014 to pursue a career in a design consultancy practice to work on projects from an early design stage, which allowed me to developer extensive design experience, implementing energy efficient and sustainable design.

I regularly travel to central Europe to work on new projects, working in countries from Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Romania, France. I find working in different countries both challenging but extremely rewarding at the same time. To enable to grow my experience whilst networking with fellow professionals has been detrimental to my career growth.
